This event is designed to empower and inspire Black 男性 students, providing a platform for growth and connection within our community.
The weekend will be filled with engaging activities and discussions led by successful Black 男性 leaders from various fields in and outside of XULA. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear their stories, 从他们的经验中学习, and ask questions that can help guide their path to success.
This event will take place from Friday, July 26th to Sunday, July 28th,并向所有黑人开放 男性s who are rising juniors and seniors, have at least a 2.5 GPA, and are involved in extracurricular activities. The event is free of charge; all meals and accommodations for the weekend will be provided.

The Xavier University 并行招生计划 allows a limited number of high school students with the high-level academic ability to advance their college careers by earning college credit while in high school.
Student Eligibility and Program Guidelines:
Currently enrolled high school students within the 伟大的er New Orleans Area and outer lying parishes, 包括家庭学校的学生, are eligible to apply for Xavier’s Concurrent Enrollment program. 通常, participation in concurrent enrollment is limited to incoming 11th and 12th grade students, with consideration to students in 9th and 10th grade provided on a case-by-case basis. All concurrent enrollment program participants must demonstrate readiness for rigorous postsecondary course work and the collegiate environment while still in high school. Participants must meet all prerequisites for the courses in which they are seeking to enroll.
入学 to the concurrent enrollment program is competitive. Priority consideration for admission is provided to students attending high schools with which formal partnership agreements are established. Requests for specific course placement are honored based on space availability.
Concurrent Enrollment applications are due as follows:
- 秋季学期= 6月1日st
- 春季学期=十二月一日st
- 夏季课程1 = 5月20日th
- 夏季课程2 = 6月20日th
- 夏季课程3 = 5月30日th
学生 interested in participating must first contact their high school counselor to indicate interest in taking college courses at XULA and discuss eligibility requirements. Counselors or principals must confirm student eligibility prior to enrollment in the program. Eligible students must complete an application for admission and provide supporting documentation as outlined by the Office of 招生. After a student’s application is processed and accepted by the university, students can enroll in college courses according to the schedule agreed by their high school and XULA. Concurrent enrollment students must also attend an orientation session prior to beginning classes. Concurrent Enrollment classes are NOT available online.
在招生, students must maintain eligibility to participate by continuing to make progress toward high school graduation and by maintaining a 3.0 grade-point average for all college coursework. 学生 must also adhere to all university policies related to academic and behavioral codes of conduct.

The cost of participation in Xavier’s concurrent enrollment program is $250 per course. This price covers the cost of tuition and applicable university fees. 学生 are responsible for costs associated with textbooks, securing a university identification card, 个人用品. 学生 are also responsible for all costs associated with transportation to and from campus, including those associated with parking on campus.
To be considered for admission into Concurrent Enrollment, a student must submit the following:
- Xavier Concurrent Enrollment Application
- 高中成绩单
- High School Counselor Recommendation Form
Concurrent enrollment is only for students who are currently completing the high school diploma while simultaneously enrolled in a XULA course.
